This was the
first project in tourism at the
Center for Latin
American Competitiveness and Sustainable Development,
an
initiative of the Presidents of the Central American
countries,
BCIE and
Avina Foundation. La Paz Group
founder
Crist Inman worked with public and private
sector leaders using “Cluster” methodology. The hallmark
“No Artificial Ingredients” campaign—highlighting the
country’s commitment to conservation—was the first
breakthrough success of this project. This generated
interest in other countries for sustainable destination
advisory services based on Costa Rica’s innovative
approach to sustainable tourism development. |
